Setting Up Your Home Theater System in an apartment or condominium at the end of complaints from neighbors

Having lived in an apartment or condominium most of my life, I can tell, the worst thing that the neighbors complain about the noise from your home theater or stereo system. For the purposes of this section, the term "apartment" is also condominiums and home entertainment system "will also include a stereo system for playing CDs. Here are some tips that I learned over the years to minimize the flight to talk to your neighbors apartment, complain.

Before you go when you have a lot of money, there is virtually no such thing as soundproofing a room in an apartment. Yes, it can be done, but the cost will be on the roof. The advice I give is to try to minimize the number of complaints with your neighbors. Some common sense advice before you begin. May I introduce myself to you to everyone who lives just above or below you or you have a wall with you, you give him your phoneNumber and tell them in a friendly way if they ever have a problem with the sound system, just to give you a call. In this way we could at least be able to alleviate the problem internally before it escalates to a higher level. I would not try to play loud music / movies before 11:00 and after 8:00 Clock clock, even if it is your property policy, at 10:00 clock to 10:00 pm, and hear, such as wireless headphones Pioneer SE-5.1 DIR800C Dolby Digital 5.1 Wireless Headphones for other times.

TheMain problem that you are with your neighbor your subwoofer. The simplest solution is to be in an apartment on the first floor, at least to get rid of people among them complain. Alternatively, or even with that, I would buy both an insulation Riser Auralex Gramma and Super Mason "W" rubber mat. The Gramma Isolation Riser is essentially a platform for your subwoofer placed on providing a sort of acoustic isolation and improves the sound of the subwoofer, not that it sounds artificial. In short, it is helpful to get rid of any bass subwoofer that you do not want. Mason Super "W" rubber mats have a rubber mat, place 2 "Module 3 / 4 inches high, separated by a dense network that you use all the carpet and / or truncated set your subwoofer modules. The way I did setting up my subwoofer is the subwoofer to the top of the riser pipe insulation Gramma who have the Mason Super W "Mat is on my carpet. I have the subwoofer back over 14 to 16 "from the back wall andPage subwoofer also about 14-16 "from the sidewall. I set the subwoofer on the riser isolation, so that its gate is located right on the edge of the riser. Subwoofer is the width of the riser-centered isolation. I 've included an image in one of my websites below.

I would also recommend if you live in an apartment, try the satellite speakers and a powerful receiver. I have established an excellent Orb Audio Mod 1 5.1 speakers and subwoofer, which I love, which seems to play veryEar volumes without overpowering. I found that the most powerful receiver is the sweetest, you can use the actual volume and that does not sound so loud, but not loud in the room.

Regarding the speakers, my advice is not connected to you with them or directly to a wall, but a few inches can be too far from the ceiling and the floor from around 28 "to 56" or so of the earth from the bottom the speaker. I also do not CornèrWalls. You can also try and they performed better Mason "W" square modules.

Finally, just use common sense. Keep the windows closed when you play your home theater system. The best hours to play things is really hard in the week between 11 am and 5:00 Clock if the people at work and 12:00-5: 00 on weekends. Be aware of when playing DVDs, films that play with gunfire and explosions tend to be more difficult, then the films of Woody Allen and select your volume accordingly!Good luck. You've probably received many complaints, but the amount should be reduced a little!
